Not the most inspired name I know, but at the moment this is one of the kids' favourites. We alternate between calling it 'spicy mince' (because it has spices, not because it's chilli-hot) or savoury mince.
I change the spices up a little - if I'm going more for an Indian style mince, I'll use ground cumin and coriander, for a Mexican inspired dinner I will add sweet smoked paprika into the mix.
You could also add in dried oregano for more Mexican flavours, but all my kids can taste a single leaf in the pot and turn their noses up- we are a work in progress!
Add paprika, coriander and cumin and stir through until fragrant
